Keystone Partner VirtuSense Mentioned in McKnight’s Excellence Award

John Knox Village was awarded the 2020 McKnight’s Excellence in Technology Award for their use of VirtuSense technology to significantly reduce falls. 
During JKV’s implementation of VSTAlert, the technology demonstrated the ability to reduce falls by 79.5%—far exceeding the project goal of a 27% reduction in falls over a 12-month period (7/6/2019 to 7/5/2020). Because of these numbers, JKV was awarded the 2020 McKnight’s Excellence in Technology Award. AI is doing phenomenal things in healthcare.

Congratulations to our partner VirtuSense, on being mentioned in Ziegler Journal this fall.
In the fall 2020 edition, Ziegler published a white paper called “Understanding the Technology Ecosystem for Senior Living and Care” and highlighted VirtuSense and their impressive reduction in falls in SNF’s, citing fall reduction numbers decreasing by 79% with improved resident mobility by 85%.

Andy Belval named one of the “Top 100 St. Louisans To Know To Succeed In Business.”

St. Louis Small Business Monthly honored Andy Belval as one of the top 100 St. Louisans to know to succeed in business. Andy is the Chief Revenue Of­ficer at Keystone Technologies. He is a results-driven executive with more than 25 years’ experience in technology, sales, and marketing. He holds a B.S. in Marketing from Bradley University and has worked in a variety of corporate environments ranging from publicly held, nationwide firms, to privately held, regional companies.

He has built his career through success in creating and maintaining relationships with key cor­porate decision-makers, and establishing large-volume, high-profit accounts with excellent levels of retention. He has developed brand identification and awareness campaigns for existing products as well as start-up divisions. The Gateway Arch: Individuals, Company, Region

50 years ago, engineers faced a challenge when trying to put the crucial keystone section into the Gateway Arch. As the Wall Street Journal reported earlier this month, “one leg of the steel structure was expanding in the sun—pushing it out of alignment. So city firefighters were called in to spray down the leg and cool off the hot steel. That allowed a derrick to wedge in the final piece perfectly after the massive legs were spread apart.” Like the Arch, St. Louis and the people here have faced large obstacles and challenges. We have struggled to find our alignment, but also like the Arch, we always find our place and soar above it all.
