Chip Caraway

Chip has mastered the role of being a highly-motivated, self-started, data conversion/interface consultant that takes pride in the ability to get data out of just about any system, transforming it,  cleansing it, and successfully loading it into any other system on the market. With over 19 years of extensive Data Conversion experience, Chip has completed countless successful conversions including large hospital system conversions like BJC’s Epic conversion, to multiple large private practice medical group projects. Chip has solely worked in the healthcare space his entire IT career.

During Chip’s career at Keystone, he has single handedly provided Data Conversion services for BJC Health System, a seven-facility implementation of Epic Systems EHR, obtained Epic Bridges Certification (Version 2017) and was trained as a data mover on Epic’s Data Courier. He also successfully converted data from McKesson’s Horizon Clinicals and IKnowMed, Allscripts-Touchworks, eClinical Works (eCW), NextGen, Compass-Kiddos (old Eclipsys), Meditech, APTA-Connect, PDFViewer, and ClinDesk
(CDR) into Epic using HL7 and CCD as an import vehicle.

Chip received his Bachelor of Science (Computer Science Concentration) from the University of Houston; Victoria, Texas, and Associate of Arts (Business Management Concentration) from San Jacinto College; Pasadena, Texas

Chip’s Data mining, cleansing, transforming, implementation, loading, archiving, forensics and legal expertise sets him above the rest. Chip is a traveling BBQ master and a loving husband and proud father of two boys.

Doug Bluntzer

Doug has worked in various areas of IT since 2001. In the last two decades, Doug’s expertise in data conversion, data consulting, systems and networks, application programing, and custom coding has proven results in a multitude of successful projects. Doug has worked in the healthcare space for the majority of his career. At Keystone, Doug is essential in performing client data source assessments, executing ETL strategy, Identifies patterns and areas to improve architectures for clients and ensures all solutions developed follow industry and HIPAA standards with the most efficient architectural framework available. Doug is essential to our data team and has completed or assisted in several large-scale hospital system and private medical practice conversions over the last 5 years.

Doug has his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Houston-Victoria, TX Campus. He is a proud husband and father of a daughter and son and daughter twins.

Reid Holland

Data Architect

Reid has worked in the IT space since 2010, coding since 2011, and in the software development industry for the last 8 years solving a wide variety of customer’s IT problems. His approach to development includes a close alignment with actual customer end users which ultimately leads to greater satisfaction. He has spent most of his career in the medical space including an innovative patient portal leveraging an InterSystems Health Information Exchange (HIE) as the back-end data source.

Reid’s experience has also led him to become very grounded in the architecture and use of an Enterprise Master Person Index (EMPI). Gaining extensive experience with very particular security, identity management, and data schema challenges of health data sources gave Reid the unique quality to work specifically with patient care related systems. Reid’s craftsman like ability to work the specific tools necessary, and his team leading skills fostering modern software development environments with confidence and ease has led to many successful projects in his career. Reid is a proud husband and father of two girls.
